Horserail

Horserail is an innovative fencing system specially designed as an alternative for traditional wooden post and rail. The plastic coated rails are designed to flex so that if a horse is to run into, hit, kick or put a leg through the fence then Horserail will bend and flex so that the animal will not be injured as they might be in an accident with a wooden horse fence. Horserail has also developed as special conductive plastic coated wire ‘Hotcote™’ that is the perfect solution for a highly visible, permanent electric fence for horses and other animals.

Horserail is available to view on the entrance to our yard and have been used to fence a paddock in which we keep our own horses. The rails have not been bitten as they are plastic and have remained taught, safe, secure and attractive. They help reduce serious accidents when for example (speaking from experience!) a foal is testing out his legs and doesn’t quite brake in time! The fence really helps them “bounce” off it as apposed to breaking a traditional fence or harming themselves.
